Originally from near Rochester, New York, Ted moved to Chicago to attend Northwestern University graduating with a double major.  After a brief stint in New York City Ted returned to Chicago and opened up his own catering business which serviced some of Chicago’s best known families.  He received his license in 1999 and was nominated for rookie of the year in 2000. Having lived and sold properties in many different neighborhoods over the years in Chicago Ted has an in-depth knowledge of a wide variety of areas which helps tremendously when understanding real estate values and advising buyers of areas that they may not have initially considered.  Detailed oriented and analytical in approach Ted is excellent in understanding values for both his buyers and sellers in regards to type of property, location, where the market is heading, seasonal changes, upcoming neighborhood improvements, economic factors, current market conditions, risks, etc. Understanding a myriad of influences and facts Ted can advise buyers and sellers in a multitude of ways as to how to maximize their profits and achieve their goals. His business is based upon providing clients with the solid facts and figures needed to make good decisions to maximize their goals.  As a property owner of over 20 units throughout the city Ted has made it his business to be knowledgeable about neighborhoods, construction, property management and surrounds himself with a network of Contractors, vendors, mortgage and legal professionals to securely guide his clients through the entire process. Steeped in an entrepreneurial spirit he has gained an education in all types of real estate from 1st time home buyers to larger investment properties.

Ted is a huge advocate for Chicago and enjoys spending time in a variety of activities always exploring new events, restaurants, entertainment options and the myriad of things to do in this incredible city.  He loves attending the theater, concerts, and all the types of food options this city offers. Riding his bike, tennis, pickleball and walking through the beautiful parks and architecture are some of his favorite outdoor pastime activities. Near and dear to his heart, Ted supports PAW’s Chicago, NPR, Center on Halsted and Habitat for Humanity.
